An old log farmhouse on a secluded homestead in Kačiūniškiai. Coming here feels like going back to the village to visit your grandmother: old furniture, a wood-burning stove, the smell of an old house, flowerbeds, and a pond just a few steps away. No neighbours in sight. You only hear the birds.

The homestead is the part of Kachooland that is already up and running. Guests have been staying here for years, and many come back.

Who it is for

It is for people who want a real village rather than a hotel. Most of our guests are couples, and families of up to five people are comfortable here too.

This is not a guesthouse with separate bedrooms. It is an old family home with walk-through rooms and low doorways, and on cool evenings the stove keeps it warm.

What you will find

A kitchen with a gas cooker and oven, a dishwasher, a fridge and everything you need for cooking
A renovated shower room, plus a washing machine and a hairdryer
Bed linen and towels
A wooden terrace, a hammock, and a barbecue with firewood
A pond for swimming and fishing
Pets are welcome by arrangement

The pond gets deep quickly, so keep an eye on small children.
